Brought All the Way In

"The door to the Father's heart has been opened wide — not just to visit, but to dwell forever."

Many believers find themselves aching for a real, personal relationship with the Father, only to be confused by language that makes it sound as if the Father stands aloof — as if Jesus somehow shields us from a God too holy to be near. But this idea doesn't align with the heartbeat of Scripture.

Jesus didn’t come to protect us from the Father. He came to reveal Him — to bring us home to Him. Hebrews 1:3 assures us that Jesus is the exact imprint of the Father’s nature. In other words, if we’ve seen Jesus, we’ve seen the Father. And when Jesus speaks in John 14, He unfolds the mystery of our union with Him and the shared life we now have: the Father is in the Son, and we are in the Son, and the Son is in us.

This is not some mystical abstraction. It's the tangible reality of relational communion — a spiritual intimacy we now share with the Triune God. The Holy Spirit within us draws us into this fellowship. He does not merely point to the truth — He invites us to live in it, moment by moment.

So when a heart yearns for the Father, that desire itself is evidence of the Father's drawing. It's not a misunderstanding. It's an invitation.

Journal Entry – In the Voice of the Holy Spirit

You were never meant to stand at a distance. From before the foundation of the world, the Father's desire was that you would be holy and blameless in love before Him. It was His good pleasure to adopt you as His own through Jesus Christ.

The Son came not only to deal with sin but to draw you near. He is the radiance of the Father's glory and the exact expression of His nature. When you see Jesus, you see the Father's heart unveiled. There is no difference in tone or temperament between the Father and the Son — they are one in love, one in purpose, one in drawing you near.

The Son in you is the Father’s invitation lived out. He is in the Father, and you are in Him, and He is in you. This is not theory. It is your present reality. Through Me — the Spirit of truth — you know this union. I dwell in you not to give you information, but communion.

The Father has not kept Himself at arm’s length. He is not waiting for a future time to relate to you. The veil is torn, and you have access — complete and unbroken. I bear witness to your spirit that you are His child. You cry out “Abba” not because you read it in a book, but because the Father’s voice has echoed in your soul through Me.

Your longing for Him is a response to His love. You desire Him because He first loved you. He is not hiding. He is embracing. In Christ, you have not only been forgiven — you have been brought all the way into the joy of the Triune life.

Prayer

Father, I thank You that You have not kept Yourself at a distance. I rejoice that the Son revealed Your heart so clearly, and that the Spirit within me continues to draw me into the closeness You always intended. I trust that every desire to know You more is evidence of Your nearness, not Your absence. I rest in the truth that I am fully embraced, fully welcomed, and fully Yours — not just by proxy through Christ, but as one brought into the very relationship that Jesus shares with You. And today, I live from that place of union and belonging.
